Balmoral Castle /bælˈmɒrəl/ is a large estate house in Royal DeesideAberdeenshire, Scotland. It is located near the village ofCrathie, 6.2 miles (10.0 km) west of Ballater and 6.8 miles (10.9 km) east of Braemar.
